Hardware is aimed at teaching how to repair and handle all the hardware equipments. With the spread of computers, this course has acquired huge importance.

    The computer hardware engineer is of crucial importance as he is responsible for maintaining and building every aspect of the computer right starting from the circuit board to the processing of the computer. Computer hardware exists of different types and can be differentiated on the basis of their complexity. It includes the development and analysis of computer chips, circuit boards, computer systems, and related equipment such as keyed equipment such as keyboards, modems, and printers. The hardware engineer operates on giving ideas and working on intuitive chip designs. He is also responsible for the development of the entire computer system. The R & D that a hardware engineer has to do handle is more challenging and tougher as compared to the work of a software engineer.

    Auto technicians has to use a variety of tools and equipment for their job. Since many car components are electronic, technicians have to use computers to diagnose trouble. Pressure indicators and voltage meters guide the technicians to spot problems with engine oil pressure and ignitions. To make repairs, technicians often use power wrenches, welding torches and hand tools. They should be confident in the use of pliers and screwdrivers.
